Self-Sustained Flame

Once ignited the flame keeps burning without the need to keep the gas valve open. This keeps your hands away from the flame while getting beneath tinder.

Increased Fuel Capacity

30% more NAPHTHA (standard lighter fluid) based fuel - the trusted choice for extreme environments.  Unlike butane fuels which struggles to light below freezing (0C/32F) naphtha maintains its reliability in the harshest cold (-40C/ -40F). Its quick vaporization and availability means you will have fire when you need it.

Pressure Release Plug

If the lighter is opened at high elevations, low internal pressure may increase the force needed to open it at lower elevations. To normalize pressure, lift or pry the valve until it loosens - no need to remove fully. Once pressure equalizes press the valve back into place and open the lighter.

Pressure Relief Plug

Low pressure captured within the lighter can make it difficult to open the lid. If this occurs loosen the pressure relief plug with your fingernail or a non-metal tool. The captive plug does not need to be removed. Once loosened the internal pressure reaches equilibrium with the surrounding atmosphere. Press the plug back in place.
